The party is over and the guests are long gone. The house is quiet and everyone seems to be in recovery mode. That is everyone but the puppy Ernie. I happened across him in the backyard so I whipped my iPhone to capture the moment. It reminds me of the saying “all good things must come to an end” but someone needs to tell this to Ernie. He’s discovered an empty party cup in the backyard and is having a grand time with it. Keep in mind, it’s August and not sure of the exact temperature but it’s hot. I’ve been watching him for an hour and he’s already drained my battery. I will not be lifting a paw the rest of the day!
