Even though people think Norfolk Terriers poke their noses into everything, we do take the privacy of visitors to our website seriously.
Analytics
We’re curious about which tales get read (dogs are curious!), so we use Google Analytics, but only if you say OK. When you first visit, a cookie banner asks; Google Analytics doesn’t run unless you click “OK, Count Me.” If you do, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends details of your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device, your approximate location, and your IP address, to Google. We’ve also turned on Google Signals, which lets Google add demographic and interest information (such as age range and general interests) for visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have allowed ad personalization. We only see this as summary reports, never as information about you personally, and we use it to see whether our tales are reaching dog lovers. We make no attempt to merge any of this with personally identifiable information.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you from page to page.
