Today was one of the coldest days of the year, so of course my mind wandered off to the hot days of summers past, spent working out in the pool.
I was reminded of the immortal words of fellow competitor and South African swimmer Chad le Clos:
…when you are swimming for something greater than yourself it can help you achieve great things.
How true!
Can Jaxon read and write yet? Poppy is looking forward to his posts on here.
Jaxon is very anxious to jump in, but we just came across something where he couldn’t even spell his own name, so if we let him near a keyboard it can only be with supervision. Maybe he would have had better luck with a name like “Poppy.” Three out of the 5 letters are the same, so there would less chance of him making a mistake. If he could remember 1 thing, he’d be 60% of the way there.
