If you drive along enough country roads, sooner or later you’re going to come across a few deer who are bold enough to run right in front of you. And that’s just what happened to me and Jaxon on one cold January day.
Five (yep, you have to count carefully!) of those pesky deer decided to see how alert we were.
Four crossed in front of our moving car in under 3 seconds, and the fifth had the good sense to go behind the car.
Not a single deer was hurt in making this video. That’s right. All got safely across the road.
Jaxon did go for a tumble from his perch on the armrest. He blames the deer and vows to give them a stern lesson if he ever sees them again.
I’m just glad I held the camera steady and got a good video.
